Dear, Athena
I am a director and have a problem. I have to perform a play for the duke of Athens. I have no one else to ask what to do. I have no friends who I can talk to. Other than my friends who I cant talk to I have no friends or family who live near.
My question is how do I make all my actors happy? I assigned them all parts that I thought would fit them well but none will take their parts. They are all mad and I don’t know how to fix it. Should I change parts or should I just tell them they are to play what has been assigned? They all want to play different characters that don’t even fit their descriptions!
They all try to play parts that don’t even fit them and it’s driving me crazy! I beg your help. Don’t let my actor’s mess up at the duke’s performance. So Athena what should I do? I don’t know what to do. I can’t decide to change parts or to force them to be characters they don’t want to be.
Sincerely,
Director
